Maintenance Engineer
The Role
A fast paced, rewarding and important role within our business. Are you an experienced, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – we are looking to replace our long serving, well respected maintenance engineer and would like potential applicants to apply directly… This maintenance position will see you working across our five factory units within our 40,000 sq.ft site including Engineering / Machine shop areas.
Responsible for Mechanical & Electrical Repairs and Maintenance on our plant and equipment, reactive, planned and preventative.
Requirements
- Educated to NVQ, BTEC or C & G in Mechanical engineering discipline or time served
- Experience in a repair/maintenance/facilities role in an engineering manufacturing / production plant
- Welding, CNC & manual machine tools, MIG & TIG welding equipment and press brake knowledge a distinct advantage
- Pneumatic & hydraulic systems experience
- Single and 3-phase electrical circuits experience
- Turning, Milling and Fabrication skills – desirable but not essential
